Sister Brown and Sister Purbough have accepted callings as Relief Society Instructors.
Lesson: 1 & 2 The First Vision/ God the Eternal Father

Lesson discussion Focus:
1) What is eternal life? We will live with God and we will live like him, and be like him. We need to start developing the attributes and skills that he has in this life. As we do so we will become a Zion people.
2) What is immortality? Everyone that will receive a celestial, terrestrial, or telestial glory will receive immortality ( be reunited with their bodies forever after death- in other words, be brought forth by the resurrection of the dead). However not all of them will have eternal life- only those who believe in Christ, Keep God's commandments, and endure to the end (Carefully study Doctrines and Covenants Section 76) .
3) What does it mean to know God? We will get to know God as we endure to the end. If we do this, we will become like him. We need to make God a part of our daily life. We need to pray to him, trust in him, listen to him, heed his counsel, develop his qualities within us, ask for his help and guidance, express gratitude for blessings, think about him and remember him often.

*Baptism 1pm this Saturday, Feb.2 - Would you like to help with refreshments? Contact Sister missionaries at 951-250-2366.
*Our beloved President Gordon Bitner Hinckley passed away at 7pm Jan. 27th. Memorial broadcast to be announced. Visit LDS.org for more details.
